White Glitter

Below are my junk~hunting finds with the "before" repainted tree~~

I removed all the colored beads~~

hand~painted the tree with leftover house paint; let dry and brushed on Elmer's glue and sprinkled on gobs of white glitter~~

then NOT finding any replacement clear "Christmas" type beads anywhere~~used a sprig of holiday floral beads; cut them off and glued stems into the holes.  Worked perfectly!

Christmas cards were turned into "hanging ornaments" ~~(these have been good sellers for me this year at my booth);  used vintage papers and trims and hot~glued sparkle berry sprigs~~they look pretty gathered in bowls and baskets too~~

~~and Dollar Store ornaments revamped with more silver or white glitter~~

~~I love how the ceramic tree turned out; too cold to spray paint~~actually cut expenses by using leftover can~paint!

What's your latest project?

Here's where the parties are this week~~I'll see you there!

And After The Pumpkin Pie~~

Last minute preps around here today~~a little shopping list~~and it's been raining since I got up (early)~~

The mail came early~~bringing me my present to self~~

Even the little paper sack "label"~~unique and pretty~~

I have a large fetish for good, quality magazines that I keep for decorating sources as well as searching the blogs and websites~~I've never owned one of Jeanne ' d Arc Living magazine~~now I do and have no regrets~~simply beautiful~~gorgeous inspiration~~

below~~I'm so doing this project!

So after Thanksgiving I'll sit down and admire, dream, escape to this wonderful magazine and see what I can come up with for my old farm house stuck on the edge of a sleepy little town~~

I wish you a wonderful Thanksgiving and blessings to you and your families!

~Aqua~

Finished painting my .50 cent frames and did a little stenciling on background papers~~

Used the "autumn" bucket for some aqua Christmas~~spray painted the branches white and re-used the same jute bow~~several big pinecones and faux greenery~~

Below~~my inspiration junk finds~~

I add a little Christmas decorating to our Thanksgiving; we aren't all going to be together at the same time on Christmas~~this is my way of bringing the two holidays together~~

Using Krylon "mirror image" spray paint~~to a huge glass container with a flameless candle inside~~

Can you see the stamped "vintage Santa"?  I love this image~~

Need to re~do some Christmas type pillows~~the fern pillow is the right color, but not happy with the summery look~~so making something different for the slipcovered chair~~eventually!

Still working on this room and finishing up my tables~~hope to post my results by the end of the week~~sun is out today so we'll be working on the siding and windows; and getting the on~going list ready for Thanksgiving.  I can hardly wait til the kids come home~~~

I'm linking up here for these fun parties~~
